Boulder is a battlefield. What happens here and now matters — globally. So, do something. Our local businesses will adjust to adding a quarter in cost (on average) to their drinks. Consumers will pick up the tab. Everyone will weather this storm. But exempting drinks with sugar from a sugary beverages tax only opens a can of worms for Big Soda to shake all over the battlefield. Tell City Council to stand tough. They can't hold Big Soda all on their own. They need to hear from you. Don't let this fail. We have one chance. And you are it. Remember: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
