Happy Independence Day! Yesterday I got the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center and Plan Boulder County to endorse online petitions. Next Tuesday I talk with 350.org Boulder County. Please get me in touch with organizations you are a member of that might support more and better direct democracy for Boulder and Beyond. Even organizations that are not chiefly political may someday want to put something on the ballot that Council (or the state legislature) won't pass themselves. To repeat, new Council member Jill Grano and I will be on KGNU tomorrow morning from 9 to 9:30 to talk about online petitioning.
