Due to the Botswana Government drilling bores for water and oil, Indigenous peoples are forced to depend on government aid. Living around these areas hinder survival due to rising temperatures, dune expansion, and increasing wind speeds. All of the above have contributed to a negative impact on agricultural practices which result in environmental degradation in the long run.
