For years, Boston Market (formerly Boston Chicken) has been serving its iconic rotisserie chicken, and later, turkey breast and other entrees, with a choice of side dishes, including its signature stuffing.

Recently, without explanation or reason, Boston Market removed the stuffing from its menu. According to the company, stuffing will be brought back sporadically as a "seasonal side dish."

Like peanut butter without jelly, soup without crackers, or hot dogs without sauerkraut, Boston Market's meats just aren't the same without the stuffing This is a baffling, boneheaded decision that has diminished the Boston Market dining experience.

If Boston Market wants to experiment with new, additional side dishes, that's great! -- but there's no reason it has to be at the expense of its oldest and most popular one.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
