On July 4th parliamentary candidate across the country will be seeking to represent us in parliament.
We, who have lost loved ones to Covid 19, represent our loved ones who were fatally let down by the government during the pandemic.
That is why we are asking candidates to commit to meeting with bereaved families if they are elected, so that we can work together to learn lessons from the past and save lives when the next pandemic hits.
We are asking for your help to secure support from as many candidates as possible in the last hours before the election.
Please tag your local candidates in our social media posts to find out if they will stand with bereaved families.

This action has proved effective so far, with lots of candidates emailing us to say that they would like to meet us once they are in power.
The legacy of the last government is writ large in the names of each of the over 230,000 partners, friends, parents, siblings and children who died of Covid 19.
With your help, we can make sure that the next government learns from the mistakes of the past, for the sake of our loved ones, and the lives we can save in the future.
Together we can make sure that pandemic preparedness is a priority for the next government, whichever party is in power.
With thanks for all of your support.
Deb Doyle, in loving memory of her mum, Sylvia Griffiths
