Covid-19 Bereaved Families for JusticeUnited Kingdom
Dec 8, 2021

Today has been one of the darkest days we as a community have faced.

We are confronted with the fact that while our loved ones were dying, while we mourned on our own, Downing street staff were holding a party.

Not only that but inside number 10 just days later advisers were laughing at not only those of us that lost loved ones but each and everyone of us.

Whilst we all followed the rules they laughed.

They laughed at you. They laughed at me. They laughed at all of us.

On top of that, the Prime Minister has today suggested that we, not those who broke the rules, are undermining confidence in public health messaging when all we want is the truth.

But whilst we were laughed at by those in Government, we have seen a wave of support for those of us who have lost loved ones from across the country.

Will you help us once more?

Whilst Boris Johnson may call it playing politics, we call it seeking for answers to learn lessons and save lives with a statutory inquiry.

Every penny you can give helps us fight to get those answers and save lives.

Only an inquiry will restore trust and transparency in time to save lives and find justice for our loved ones.

Thank you for everything you have done already to support us and our fight for answers.
