Dear petition signees,

On Wednesday, the protest group Led By Donkeys projected a video onto the Houses of Parliament demanding the Prime Minister keeps his word and meets with our group. 

That video was picked up across national news, and on Twitter it has already been seen over half a million times - you can watch it yourself in the link here and we would love it if you could share it far and wide.

It is clear we are gathering momentum, and the Government can't go on ignoring you.

Some of our members were also featured on the BBC documentary Lockdown 1.0 which was broadcast last night, exposing the failings in Government policy from the start of the year. This is to say nothing of the interviews we have given to Channel 4, ITV, BBC, Sky News and more. 

But despite our successes, this fight is not over yet. As of today, the UK has a daily Covid-19 death rate of over 500 people. That's like if two jumbo jets full of people fell out of the sky - every single day. 

What's worse, the Government is still refusing to learn the lessons from the mistakes they made during the first wave of the pandemic. 

For the good of the country, the Government must call a statutory public inquiry now. There is still time to learn lessons and save lives and we will keep holding the Government to account until we do.
