The Government have confirmed this evening that no steps shall be taken to execute the warrant to slaughter Geronimo the alpaca until 4pm on Monday 16th August, at the earliest.

This was a result of a further application made to the High Court earlier today by Geronimo's lawyers, seeking judicial review of the issue of the warrant to execute Geronimo, on the basis of material non-disclosure by the Government.material non-disclosure by the Government.
