Thank you all for signing. As some of you may be aware 'Non-Fatal Strangulation' became a standalone offence on 7th June 2022. Between 7th June and August 2022 over 70 perpetrators were charged by CPS Direct with this new offence. This offence carries up to 5 years in prison. It will save lives.
