Yet another lion has been shot by a rich sociopath in Zimbabwe, apparently under an 'official' hunting permit from the government. This time it is Xanda, son of the legendary lion Cecil, who was gunned down by a US dentist several years ago, causing an International uproar. Xanda was looking after several young cubs. Sadly, this has failed utterly to stop the process of issuing permits for hunting big cats in the corrupt and bankrupt regime. This petition calls upon the Foreign Secretary to press the Zimbabwean government in the most forceful terms to cease the issue of permits to kill big cats or face real and meaningful sanctions.
