Thank you to everyone who wrote to your MP calling on them to support our call for a public inquiry into #DeniedMyVote!

This has been a stunning success and tonight a group of 68 MPs including Layla Moran (Lib Dem), Catherine West (Labour), Joanna Cherry QC MP (SNP), Ben Lake (Plaid), Anne Coffey (Change UK) and Heidi Allen (Indpt Group) have written to Sir John Holmes, Chair of the Electoral Commission and Sir Mark Sedwill the Cabinet Secretary supporting our calls for an inquiry.

Please continue to write to your MP asking them to sign and share this petition and add their support to the cross-party movement in parliament to back the call for an inquiry.

Meanwhile we are still writing to Councils to collect evidence to strengthen the case for an inquiry. If you'd like to help, please get in touch with us at:

The lowest figure we have had back so far is for a council in the East of England where only 9% of the UC1 forms came back on time.

The best performing Council we have heard from is Hillingdon in London with 35% of the UC1 forms returned.

We appeal again to all the supporters of this petition to support this fast-moving campaign.

We are doing our best and getting results but we need you to do what you can to support the campaign too!

Please chip in £5, £10, £25 or what you can afford to sustain the campaign and maximise our impact.

We simply can't make progress without your support and if we all contribute what we can we will get a very good result.

Those who were denied a vote deserve justice and our democracy deserves better than this.
