Please see attached letter our lawyers have sent Mr Shapps today.

We are getting ready in case we need to take legal action. Kingsley Napley have reviewed the approach of other European countries who have put in place "no refund obligation" windows of 6 / 12 / 18 months. We have obviously elected for the shortest possible window we think we win Government round to: 6 months. This is in any case buckets of time for companies who have failed to get proper finance in place to now do so. The 6 months "Extraordinary circumstances" window runs from 17th March through to 17th of September 2020. Critically, we argue, customers in financial distress should still be refunded with 14 days even during that window.
