Hi everyone,

Thanks again for all your amazing support to make sure all young people in the UK get the food they need during school holidays.

The next big campaign me and my friends at Bite Back 2030 are working on is about junk food advertising.  And we need your help.

Please click here and take two minutes to stop kids being targeted  with junk food adverts online.

What’s the Problem?

Children in the UK are bombarded by junk food ads online - 15 billion a year! These ads manipulate young people to crave more, buy more, pester for more, and eat more junk food. During the pandemic young people’s health is more important than ever, and we’re spending even more time on screens, so we need action now.

What’s the solution?

To end junk food advertising online. And thanks to everyone's campaigning so far, this is what the Government is now considering.  They’ve launched a consultation asking what the public thinks about the idea.

How can you help?

We really need to get as many positive responses to this consultation in the next week before it ends on 20th December.  Bite Back 2030 has produced a really helpful guide on how to fill out the consultation.  Please click here and take two minutes to help stop kids being targeted by these ads.

Thank you so much!

Christina
