99% of the feedback received on posting this petition just yesterday has been "What's the point? He'll never resign."
And of course, they're right. He won't - he's incapable of doing the right thing for the needs of this country, he just wants to hold onto power (remind you of someone?)
The point of this petition is to send a message that holding onto his position, given his appalling track record on the management of COVID-19, is abhorrent, selfish and counter to everything he claims to represent.
Therefore, irrespective of whether you believe he will pay attention to little old us and a few signatures on a petition, you should consider this as your democratic right to send him a message that he is rubbish at his job (to put it mildly).
If nothing else - sign it for the 75,000+ people who have died from COVID-19 in the UK, due to his incompetence in public office.
