Marvel can't work with themselves, but they can work with other companies?!

For years, the Marvel studios and Marvel TV directors and producers have complained about not being able to crossover their TV and movie franchises because of time, plot, schedule and continuity. They claim that it is nearly impossible for them to schedule their movies and shows close enough to crossover. But, recently, Chloe Bennet/Wang (Quake on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Uh-Oh) commented on the subject stating, “I don’t know. People who make movies for Marvel, why don’t you acknowledge what happens on our show? Why don’t you guys go ask them that? Cause they don’t seem to care!” And, “The Marvel Cinematic Universe loves to pretend that everything is connected, but then they don’t acknowledge our show at all. So, I would love to do that, but they don’t seem to keen on that idea.” This Marvel star even agrees. A few years ago, Marvel and Sony worked out a deal to share the character Spider-Man for their movies. So, Marvel can try to get a character completely out of the MCU continuity, but they can't even acknowledge their own properties. This is a little outrageous. Why doesn't Marvel feel the need to truly bind together their universe, but only want to make the universe bigger?
