Establishment of a Permanent Residential Treatment Centre for Addictions Rehabilitation

One week ago today, the Community Law School Social Justice Advocacy Group started this petition. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of support it has received. We are very close to 1000 signatures and hope to exceed this number by days end.

Clearly our community supports the establishment of a permanent residential treatment center for addictions rehabilitation in Sarnia-Lambton. Twenty years of waiting for promised provincial funding is far too long and we hope this petition to our local MPP, the Minister of Health and Associate Minister of Health for Mental Health and Addictions will get the money to our community as soon  as possible.

If you have friends, relatives or colleagues who have not yet signed, we ask that you encourage them to do so. Many lives will be saved if we can make this happen.
