Prevent the inevitable traffic congestion and cut through traffic in surrounding neighborhoods by rejecting the request  for a Special Exception drive thru for a restaurant proposed by an Atlanta developer on Augusta Street.  The proposed Chick-fil-A restaurant with a drive-thru on busy Augusta Street will diminish the quality of life in our neighborhoods and further compromise already serious traffic issues on Augusta Street.  The access will be on Aberdeen Drive and Conestee Avenue making these residential streets into short cuts to Chick-fil-A.  This is an inappropriate and unwanted development by an out of state developer who can find a better location for their heavy traffic business proposal.  Reject the drive-thru that will cause serious traffic issues on and off of Augusta Street.
