4 years ago, the Anderson Center polling site for elections was removed from the campus of Winston Salem State University. With the polling site being placed off campus to the Sims Recreation location and the Forsyth County Government Building students have not been able to efficiently find transportation to arrive at those destinations to vote . The right to vote is a right for every citizens of United States and should be  afforded to all citizens. However, the number of students and local individuals that are inconvenienced by this polling site change is endangering that right. Winston Salem State university is well known in the area and Anderson Center can accommodate those in the community as well as allow students without transportation the opportunity to participate in elections.
