
None of us ever imagined a petition for a wagon to reach 50,000+ signatures. If there were a Guinness World Record for such a thing, we would be in the 2026 hardcover.
This is unprecedented. I imagine everyone who signed this also wants to see BMW bring the non-M wagon as well, because that would not only help with the cost for the M-model but who doesn't want to see more shooting brakes on the street. There is a small window of opportunity right now to try-again convincing BMWUSA to make the argument on our behalf, even if we all believe 50K plus signatures should be sufficient.
Hopefully one day, our favorite manufacturers will realize that nowadays it is our market, when buying a new car, that options for the manual transmission the most in the world. This speaks for itself...
