Ref:No. DCF/PR/27/2020/21 dtd 26.11.2020This is with concern I note that BMRCL has sought permission to axe 488 trees in total as defined in both the annexures.

In this context, I wish to state that lot many trees have already been axed by BMRCL from the time the Phase - 2 Reach -6 work started and it will be a natural disaster to axe more trees and I strongly object to this move.
Further, it is my sincere suggestion that any development project at the conception level itself there should be wide spread publicity and suggestions over various issues should be sought from the general public,nature lovers, environmentalists etc., so that alternative methods could be adopted at the right time.

Once again my disapproval for this project which please note.
