As it stands the HOTS community is divided by region, whatever a player unlocks via in game currency or cash is likewise restricted to the region they unlocked it for.

Many players however have friends in multiple regions and this regional locking actively harms their ability to play with those friends as doing so may mean the loss of access to content they have previous paid for or achieved via in game effort.

In addition this regional locking is heavily inconsistent, for example a person owning a copy of World of Warcraft US can unlock content on HOTS worldwide, similarly other out of game accomplishments that earn ingame rewards are often worldwide and not themselves regional.

This inconsistency demonstrates that the technology for global unlocks already exists in some form within HOTS.

We would ask that Blizzard Entertainment please consider expanding upon this to initially make unlocked content global with an eye to creating one global account for HOTS with perhaps separate regional rankings to allow for professional ranked play.
