I have heard about the situation involving federal agents violently assaulting this individual who was peacefully exercising their right to protest. The fact that these troops felt empowered to focus their violent response on a defenseless blind protestor demonstrates both their cowardice and the punitive nature of their actions.

They are looking for a fight with those who are least able to fight back. We do not need federal troops in Portland, and they are not welcome. I am eager to see the investigation of their conditional use permit hearing, and seeing this agency held accountable and this facility shut down.
