Government should not encourage OBC reservation in Private Sector

Government should not encourage OBC reservation in Private Sector
The Issue
National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) has recommended to the government of India to bring in legislation that will make it mandatory for all private organisations to keep aside 27 per cent of their jobs for OBCs. This issue has been raised by Shakeel-uz-Zaman Ansari, a member of Indian National Congress and his profile link has been given below.

Reservation has been the biggest burden for this country especially in the field of Education and Government posts. The caste based reservation system has created a significant increase in levels of mediocrity and lack of competition among the student community and also has brought down the average levels of an Indian student in the International arena. Unfortunately this has finally resulted in the act of exodus of talented individuals from India who have been denied opportunities based on caste reservation.
We see that almost all caste centric leaders who aspire to be a Politician, create a hit job by advocating quota reservation for their respective castes. These Political leaders will probably call themselves an ardent follower of B R Ambdekar's principles of inclusive growth but fail to understand that B R Ambedkar wanted to remove reservation from India after a period of 10 years.
This proves that our Politicians have been using caste based reservations as a tool for cheap vote bank politics. The state of Tamil Nadu is a typical example which has nearly 69% of reservations in spite of the 1992 Supreme Court order to curb reservations at 50% only. With the support of JDU leaders and call for caste based reservations in Judiciary by LJP leader and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, this issue is taking a very ugly turn.
All of PM Modi's pet projects like Start Up India, Make in India have been clamoring for fresh young talents in the Nation. Implementing this caste based reservation in private sector can be considered as suicidal for the Indian Growth Story.
