Today is the day!
43 longstanding victims will have their cases heard at the Royal Courts of Justice today. The Post Office is not contesting the majority of these, however there are 3 cases they will be. They are also defending a number of the other cases on the second charge of whether prosecutions were 'an affront to public conscience'.
BBC Radio 4 covered the story today as did BBC Breakfast News. This story must be told far and wide as the UK's largest ever miscarriage of justice trial in history. If you haven't already I highly recommend a watch or listen to any of these programs and you will be shocked to the extent of what happened and more so the cover-up by Post Office and UK Government to this day.

Today Post Office released minutes of a meeting regarding a project called 'Project Sparrow'. You can read all about it here and see the redacted documents :-

Just when you think you cannot be anymore shocked by this scandal another piece of news hits and takes it to another level. The government is attempting to water this down with a review that has no terms of reference to hold anyone in the Post Office or Fujitsu to account, does not compel anyone to give evidence under oath and it does not allow discussion of compensation.....the only 3 points victims want and need discussed. Remember the most shocking part is that those who repaid money to the Post Office have NOT received that money back, it is still part of Post Office's previous annual accounts.
Today Nick Wallis will be tweeting the court proceedings live on his twitter feed @NickWallis and a write-up put on his website afterwards at postofficetrial.com
If you would like to support his work please do so via his crowdfunding to ensure he can afford to broadcast this to a wide audience and help deliver justice for all involved. He will also be releasing a brand new book about this scandal which I am sure will be a fantastic read whilst also being devastating hearing the suffering of so many hard working Postmasters. You can donate here and have the amount include a copy of the book or you can simply wait for its release in the months ahead and purchase a copy!
