It has been a while since the last update.  A few days ago the well known journalist Nick Wallis teamed up with Computer Weekly to produce the latest story from an insider at Fujitsu who worked on the Post Office Horizon IT system before it was launched across the network.  He reveals they KNEW it was not fit for purpose before they released it, yet went ahead anyway, something that has led to the destruction of thousands of lives and even suicide.  The insider wanted to remain anonymous but has asked for his contact details to be sent to the current government review chaired by Sir Wyn Williams.  He is also prepared to give sworn witness statements to solicitors acting on behalf of Subpostmasters in their ongoing appeals against their convictions.  Here is just one of the things he said in the article :-

'Everybody in the building by the time I got there knew it was a bag of s**t.  It had gone through the test labs God knows how many times, and the testers were raising bugs by the thousand.'

As some of you may already know 6 former Postmasters had their convictions quashed before Christmas at Southwark Crown Court and the remaining will have their hearing in March this year.  There is a piece of evidence called the 'Clark Advice' which has caused a stir since that hearing in December 2020, it is potentially dynamite that they are now trying to conceal!  You can read about it on Nick Wallis' blog below :-

Today the 'Justice for SubPostmasters Alliance' has written a letter to Boris Johnson Prime Minister via their solicitor Howe & Co requesting that he put a stop on the current pointless review and set out a full statutory Judicial Inquiry with the full terms of reference needed to get to the bottom of the this scandal once and for all.  Those terms must include witnesses giving evidence under oath, people to be held accountable for their actions which led to this scandal and also the paltry compensation package that was given to some of the victims.  JFSA has also written to the DPP (Department of Public Prosecutions) and the MET (Metropolitan Police) Commissioner Cressida Dick asking for assurances over investigations of potential perjury in this scandal.
