Only a week ago Jacob Rees-Mogg leader of the House of Commons was asked when he would set time to debate MP's calls for a Judge Led Inquiry, based on EDM593 (Early Day Motion) signed by 75 MP's as of today.....the below link shows who has signed so far :-

If your MP has not signed this please encourage them to do so by writing or emailing them as soon as possible. You can find your local MP using the link below :-

The question was put by Shadow Leader of the Commons 'Valerie Vaz' and the exact response by Rees-Mogg is shown below :-
'On EDM593 and the Horizon scandal, there is no worse scandal than imprisoning people or unjustly taking away their livelihoods when they are accused of crimes that they did not commit. The seriousness of what the right hon. Lady has raised is well known, and again it shows how the procedures of this House may be used to right wrongs – historical role of redress of grievance.'
This is the complete opposite to both Alok Sharma MP and Paul Scully MP who are clearly following scripts prepared for them by civil servants. They both continually reject a judge led inquiry and refuse to call it a scandal unlike Boris Johnson Prime Minister and Jacob Rees-Mogg Lead of the Commons.
When Alok Sharma was asked if ministers, Post Office Directors and previous CEO's would be compelled to give evidence, this is what he said, 'I would have thought that the moral pressure to come forward and give evidence would I hope ensure that people came forward in good faith and talk to this inquiry.'
I think Alok Sharma has failed to listen to a single day in court during the litigation or read any of the Horizon Judgement's because over the last 20 years morals have been the least of worries for anyone in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy or Post Office Ltd.
There is a new excellent article written by Tony Collins of UK 'Campaign4Change' which talks about the hundreds of reviews into Post Office Ltd over the years and the many more that are planned, they simply do not go anywhere and end up being tick box exercises to cover up the truth. Here is an extract of Tony's article to prove the Post Office has not changed one bit even with a new CEO :-
'Ministers say the Post Office is a changed organisation under a CEO Nick Read who joined in September last year. But the reforming Post Office has not yet publicly cleared any individual wrongly- accused sub-postmaster – and it has taken a position that the litigation last year did not clear, individually, any of the 557 sub-postmasters involved in the case. Indeed, it was only last year that the Post Office referred in court to sub-postmasters as thieves and liars. Can a large organisation change its attitudes and culture within 12 months because a different CEO has been appointed?'
You can make your own mind up if Post Office Ltd is a changed organisation but the evidence clearly shows they are stuck in the same rut as they have been since year 2000. You can read the full article by Tony Collins below, a very interesting read! :-
Finally as you all know I completed the #C2C Challenge of 135 miles from Whitehaven to Sunderland in under 72 hours last week. So far you have managed to raise £2305..............£1617 for the Crowd Justice page and £688 for my three Charities. Anything that was donated since the 14th July 100% is going to charity and this applies with any new donations. Here is the coverage in one of my local papers :-
On Friday 24th July this final amount will be donated to those charities, so any last minute donations are appreciated. An update will go out on here and the GoFundMe page with the receipts once they are received from those charities. Remember the amounts pledged to the Crowd Justice page have now been charged to your card and an email receipt issued, please keep this safe as once we are successful a refund can be obtained. If the JFSA does not need the funds for anything further I will be donating the pledge of £1617 to my three charities once it is returned.
