New York City communities are plagued with illegal dirt bikes and off road utility vehicles and nothing is done. The City's response and action to this problem is by harassing and giving bogus tickets to fully legal motorcycle owners and on some occasions towing legal motorcycles because of misplaced inspection stickers while bypassing stolen abandoned bikes and illegal unregistered motorcycles illegally riding on sidewalks. As a legal law abiding motorcycle owner I ask to have this nonstop harassment be diverted towards the real problem, illegal unregistered, uninsured dirt bikes and 4 wheel quads. As tax payers we deserve to be treated fairly and not used as scapegoats and an image of the City fighting the illegal dirt bike problem when we are fully legal.
