An animal left in a hot car can die very quickly.  The animal has no way of escaping the boiling heat inside of a vehicle on his/her own.  Leaving an animal in a hot car is a blatant act of animal cruelty and condemns the animal to a torturous death.  

Mr. Michael Hammons saved an innocent life.  He is not a criminal and should not have a criminal record because of his act of humanity.

The law needs to be changed to include animals in distress.  Currently the law allows an individual to break a window to save a child in distress but not an animal.

Animals cannot speak for themselves.  It is up to us to be their voice and protect them.  We respectfully ask for your attention to this.  You can make a difference.
