On Thursday, November 27th I have 2 meetings scheduled with Senate officials. Facebook support group - stay up to date here
Every meeting, I’ll be bringing forward ‘Petition Bill C-332 in Honour of Madisson Cobb’ and speaking directly about why coercive control must be written into Canadian law, and advocating for it.
This moment feels bigger than anything I’ve done so far.
I’m incredibly grateful to use my voice on behalf of survivors and victims. I’ll also be speaking about my cousin Madisson’s case because sharing her story is a crucial part of creating change. It’s part of protecting others. It’s part of why I refuse to give up. It’s heavy, and it weighs on me deeply, but I know how important and impactful this conversation will be - not only for my family, but for all of us.
And truly, if it weren’t for the 6,000+ people standing behind this petition, I wouldn’t be here today talking to the Senate about how crucial this really is, so thank you.
Keep signing. Keep sharing. Keep talking about this.
Together, we make this possible. 💜🗣️
Lots of love, always.
