The Walpole School Committee voted Unanimously to End the Rebel Mascot on the evening of June 18, 2020. Thanks to the over 9,000 Patriotic Americans that could see that this did not honor our own heritage, that it trivialized our own history, and that it trivialized the difficulties that African-Americans have faced in the USA for centuries. This has been a struggle and open-wound in Walpole for over 50 years. It Is Now Over.....!
