Update: Bike and Roll Success, First Steps with City

Great news for the supporters of our effort to strengthen our school zoning safety along Texas Oaks. Following a visit by city councilor Ryan Alter on last Wednesday for our 2nd Annual Bike and Roll to school day, we are excited to hear that the city has taken the first steps toward expanding the sidewalk along Texas Oaks into a multi-use path! It’s a small step, but it’s one towards our goals of enhancements for Casey!

Keep sharing the petition. Casey is also in need of a full time crossing guard at Slaughter and Texas Oaks after an apparent altercation with a driver. This is a BUSY road crossing and we need someone there every day to keep help our families safe.
