The NIV(New International Version)is probably one of the best selling Holy Bibles out there however the copyright owner of the NIV,Biblica has done away with the NIV 1984 edition or NIV84 for short in exchange for the NIV 2011 edition or NIV11 for short. This change is not exceptable as it became too gender specific for instance instead of Jesus saying fishers of men which it stated in the NIV84 edition now it states in the NIV11 edition fish for people. You should never change what the Gospel said just to be politically correct if that is the reason why Biblica changed the NIV.

The change didn't set well with people. This isn't the first time Biblica changed the NIV though. They did another change priror to the NIV11 called TNIV or Today's New International Version which didn't go over well so they got rid of that version but instead of keeping the NIV84 intact they decided to eliminate the 84 in favor of the 11.

It's time that Biblica knows about the outrage this new version is causing and that a lot of us want back the 84 version for both online and offline sales. There are silll some companies that sell the 84 version but once their stock is gone it's gone and you can't find the 84 online as far as online sales or studing with the exception of biblestudytools.com but as far as sales are concerned online it's almost if not completley impossible to find.

So please sign this petition and tell Biblica to bring back the NIV84 Bible .
