We had our first meeting with Mr. Pratt last night and listed our concerns. I will share the meeting minutes with you when I receive them from Councilman Chip Henderson. Briefly we listed: Protecting Natural Resources, High Density development (Apartments), Property Values, Storm water runoff, Flooding, Traffic on Mountain Creek and Reads Lake Road, Open Space & Greenway throughout development, Unsightly architecture of the existing clubhouse, Proper buffers between development and existing neighborhoods and communication with developer throughout process. I need you as supporters to help by doing the following: 1. Let me know of other concerns 2. Attend the next meeting on Wednesday, July 25 at 5:30 pm. Last night we had about 20 supporters. This is not enough to show the developer that the community is behind our efforts and unhappy with his proposals. We boast 1300 petition signers through Change.org and walking the petition house to house. 3. Continue to discuss this petition with your friends and grow our number. Thank you!
