Well, whaddya know? All of El Paso’s problems continue to lead back to the current mayor, Dee Margo. El Paso Water is a non-profit governed by a board of directors called the Public Service Board (PSB). Dee is on the PSB; he’s the first one listed on the EP Water website. So, as part of the city council, Dee is also a member of the TIRZ board, the same one that has decided to sell the Lost Dog area to developers. As part of the PSB, he is a stakeholder in ensuring the same parcel of land is sold to the city. Should Dee have his hands in both these affairs? At the very least, there appears to be a conflict of interest, if not a question of ethics. What do you think? Recognize any of the other members of the PSB and how they are related to other business, city, or city water dealings? ✊ #SaveLostDog
