Have the Falllout IP sold to either CD Projeckt Red or Rockstar.
The Issue
Problem
Bethesda has given up on single player gaming and sold out to the all mighty microtransaction. We need a company that understands story, character progression, and RPG elements to make the next Fallout. 76 is an atrocity, a buggy mess which is what we all expected. What we didn't all expect was a for 76 to be a shell of a game. Something that is supposed to tide us over for the next 10 years until a proper Fallout 5, but that can't keep people interested for more than 8 hours. Thanks Todd.
Solution
Give the IP for Fallout to people who care. CD Projekt Red with the Witcher 3, and Rockstar with Red Dead Redemption 2, and GTA 5 have both proven to be the true kings of open world single player gaming. Will it take them awhile? Of course. But Bethesda has already stated the next two games from BGS are Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6, so it's not like they are going to use the license for a decade anyways. New Vegas was the best game in the series from a narrative perspective and it wasn't made by Bethesda, maybe they should try that again, let someone else carry the load.
Personal story
I'm a gamer who has put hundreds of hours into single player games and is getting sick of incomplete games being given out, and being told "well we will finish it and add real content over the next year". This Sea of Thieves, No Man's Sky, Fallout 76 effect has to stop. I'm pretty sure BGS was just trolling when they put out the "Save Player 1 campaign" Then put out 76. They were laughing, we just couldn't hear them. Want to yell at me or tell me I'm right? Check out my youtube I'll read the comments. - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMcpzXciTM3S5m15RwTG11g?view_as=subscriber
