DOOM: ETERNAL(D:E) is the second entry in the reboot series of the Doom games picking up from 2016s game which was well received and highly praised. Almost all of us PC players enjoyed the game on Steam and had a great time with no problems. This time around though, D:E will only be available on the Bethesda launcher if you opt to purchase a physical copy of the game including the $200 collectors edition. Now, I know what most may think "Why does it matter what launcher you play the game on?". Steam has been around for years and is trusted and loved by many people and is the preferred launcher when it comes to PC gaming, while Bethesda Launcher has a few issues, most notably deleting games as they finish installing which can be frustrating for those who just want to play their new game. On top of that Bethesda launcher is also missing achievements, a functional friends list, and community forums.

We shouldn't have to be subject to a buggy launcher just for wanting a physical copy of the game especially when some of us are spending a premium for either the Deluxe or Collectors Edition which are $80 and $200 respectively.
