"Gob-smacked" is a wonderful word used by the Brits meaning "absolutely amazed," or "speechless," ..... And that's what I am today. About YOU! A day and a half ago, I drove over to Burlington with 21K signatures and placed them in Jane's hands. I left the petition open so anyone else wanting to sign it could - and over the past day and a half, more than 7,000 people have chosen to do so! The petition now stands at over 28K signatures! WAY TO GO!!!! I will be sending the additional signatures and any additional comments along to Bernie today - and will continue to do so for as long as it takes. I wish I could drive over there again, but... well, I hope you understand! And I have to also tell you I absolutely LOVE reading your comments on these updates! But I want to correct a few misconceptions. First of all, to those who've said "you'll have something great to tell your grandchildren" - well, I'm over 20 years into grandmotherhood already... so I'll tell my GREATgrandchildren about it someday! And to those of you who have complimented my team - the ONLY team I have is YOU. So- kudos right back at you! Thank you - from the bottom of my heart - for all you do!
