VICTORY: Karnataka Cabinet decides to WITHDRAW the Parks Bill

Rajkumar DugarBengaluru, KA, India
Sep 3, 2026

With 10,000+ concerned citizens expressing their support to the Online Petition in 10 days, depicting increasing AWARENESS & OPPOSITION to the 5% Parks Bill as well as the Public Show by 3000+ people showing their protest in Lalbagh on 30th August 2026, the Government of Karnataka has decided to withdraw the Bill, already passed by the Assembly & Council.

This is indeed people's victory - and shows a determined populace can succeed in making the Government reverse decisions in public interest.

We thank all citizens who expressed their concern in different ways.

We also thank the Decision Make Shri D K Shivakumar, Hon CM of Karnataka, for taking the right decision to reverse the earlier wrong decision.
