Save the LS Music Department

Save the LS Music Department
The Issue
To whom it may concern--
As some of you may know, the activities budget at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is under review at the moment. One of the intended changes for next year is to reduce Mr. Bunting's teaching position from full-time to part-time, and to reduce his salary significantly. This pay cut could lead Mr. Bunting to seek a full-time job at another school.
Mr. Bunting has been working at LS for many years, and in that time he has taught elective classes such as Chorus and Multimedia Music. Additionally, Mr. Bunting became the advisor to many clubs and a cappella groups, as well as the director of Chamber's Chorus and the vocal director of the LSB players. He has educated hundreds of students, with his teachings spanning from vocal technique to inspiring a passion for the arts to having strong moral character. He is an integral part of the LS music department, and losing him--even partially--would be deeply detrimental to all of his current and future students.
On behalf of the LS Music Department, the LSB Players, the LS Musician's Union, Chambers Chorus, the LS a cappella groups, and all of the people with whom he has connected and consequently helped, please sign this petition to show your support for Mr. Bunting. Let the administration know that we as a community value the arts, and we will not allow them to diminish a program that continues to help people become the best versions of themselves.
