UPDATE – March 10, 2021

Dear Neighbours and Friends in Campbellville,

First of all, I would like to thank you for signing on to (Y)OUR petition, and for your many encouraging comments and messages of support!

Things are moving in the right direction, and today I’m happy to share a significant update with you:

As soon as the threshold of 80 supporters from Campbellville was crossed, I emailed the offices of the Presidents & CEOs of Bell, Cogeco and Rogers to share what we are coming together for, and I asked for them to designate a pragmatic decision-maker to address our objective.

Well, today I received a call and an email from a Case Manager of the Executive Response Team at the Office of the President at ROGERS Communications, who was assigned to look into our community’s petition and to explore options.
While this is certainly a step in the right direction, I remain skeptical about whether our demand for fibre internet matters, and whether ROGERS truly does “make more possible”.

So please keep sharing this petition with your neighbours and businesses in Campbellville, and I shall keep you updated on our progress.
