From DCist: "American, Gallaudet, Georgetown, George Washington, Howard, and Maryland are among the universities making the changes. (...) Many are encouraging staff and faculty to telework where possible, mandating vaccinations, letting students still move into dorms, and having return-testing regiments. Some are suggesting or providing KN95 masks for students and staff, which offer better protection against the virus."
Meanwhile, George Mason University has yet to make an announcement regarding the upcoming spring semester despite many staff and faculty slated to return to campus next week. As of Monday, December 27, Northern Virginia's rolling average of new cases is 2,741--a 150% increase from the week prior.
