Another update - this is an abbreviated version of the Bermagui Community Forum's comment on Cuttagee Bridge.

Please vote for Option 1, preferably with at least a timber deck. Social media posts indicate those wanting a two lane concrete bridge are more active than previously. Also please contact the Councilors to let them know your feelings.

Best Solution - Option 1 Single Lane Hybrid Bridge

The Bermagui Community Forum feels that the single lane bridge design is the best solution for the community even though this is a compromise on heritage values. A single lane bridge will set the right precedent for this tourist road and will enhance the calm consideration of the beauty of this area as well as providing the best possible safety for pedestrians and visitors to Cuttagee Beach. This is also the lowest cost option.

Council Survey
 
Community members are encouraged to complete the Council survey on the 3 Cuttagee Bridge design options on the Council website. There is ample opportunity to express what you like or dislike about each Option. There has been a strong response to the survey with about 200 responses received in the first week. Deadline for completion of survey is 6 October.
