A message from the Save Cuttagee Bridge group follows. Personally, it seems to me the bridge designers have ignored the heritage and aesthetic values as Option 1, the best of the three, does not even have a timber deck and is nearly double the width of the current bridge. The pathway is extremely wide. Please check out the options and let BVSC know how you feel. In addition to the Bermi information session, there is one at Murrah Hall this Thursday from 10 -12 am.

We only have until October 6th for voting and feedback on the 3 concept design options for the renewal of Cuttagee Bridge.
Now is the time to have your say!
In November BVSC Councillors will cast their final votes on which option is to be chosen.
Please note there is an information session at Bermagui on Sunday 28 September at the Bermagui markets, Dickinson Park, Lamont St.
We at Save Cuttagee Bridge do feel disappointed at the lack of imagination and respect for heritage potential.
It seems there is disinterest in feedback from the previous “Have Your Say” survey, in that 70% want pronounced heritage elements and one lane only, with a high percentage of timber used in the structure. We are appealing to Councillors to listen.
We encourage people to vote for Option One.
Please consider the following:
1. Vote for Option 1 choice. Our only chance to keep one lane!
2. Express your disappointment in the absence of heritage values in the designs and request that the State Govt and Council respect community wishes to maintain heritage principles with timber.
3. Offer suggestions for improvements (more timber, less bulk and so on.)
Have our elected officials been looking at other projects like the beautiful Brunswick Heads bridge?
Please complete the survey
Bega Valley Shire Council is publicly exhibiting for feedback three design concepts for Cuttagee Bridge. This survey aims to gather feedback on what the community values about each of the three concept design options and to assist in assessing the merits of each design for the Cuttagee Bridge project.
This survey takes about 10 minutes to complete.
