Update on action

Hi All,
Here's an update from the Save Cuttagee Bridge group:
Great news on the State Government managed Wallaga Bridge.
We now have a totally restored, TfNSW certified, one lane timber bridge at Wallaga!
It’s beautiful and clearly safe.
So to our Bega Valley Shire Council managed Cuttagee bridge.
Tender scope :
The three options include:
a two-lane concrete structure,
a two-lane concrete and a timber hybrid option and
a single-lane hybrid design.
The third option was only included due to community advocacy. Thank you!
From BVCSC:
"GHD are currently preparing the tender scope to go to market to engage the lead design consultant who will be responsible for developing the design options as stipulated in the Funding Agreement as well as undertaking required site investigations.
The tender will be released to market in January and the design contract expected to be awarded in March.
GHD are also preparing the Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plan (CSEP) which will detail the engagement strategy for the project. Engagement activities are expected to begin in the new year following the January school holiday period.
Exact timings and avenues identified for consultation activities will be communicated to identified stakeholders and interested parties via various means including Council’s social media platforms".
Let's hope Cuttagee Bridge can be restored to the same standard and design as Wallaga Lake Bridge.
