A message from Save Cuttagee bridge

The following is a message from Save Cuttagee Bridge group. It should be noted that Greens councillor Cathy Griff has also consistently supported saving Cuttagee Bridge, and while she is not standing again, Peter Haggar leads a Greens team of councillor candidates which will support our bid.

Vote 1 HELEN O’NEIL for MAYOR and HER TEAM for COUNCIL on 14th September
Despite assurances made at the public meeting in Bermagui on 8th September, it is hard to believe that anything will change.
Four of the candidates standing for Mayor in this election have consistently voted on Council for a TWO LANE concrete bridge at Cuttagee.
Only one candidate, Councillor HELEN O’NEIL has been open to a full appraisal of ALL options. In her term on Council, she has demonstrated a commitment to transparency, due process, community consultation and an openness to ideas.
As Mayor, we believe she will work to ensure that the decision as to what is built at Cuttagee will be the result of a fair and open process and in the best interests of our community.
How you vote on 14 September matters.
If you want leadership that listens and the best outcome for Cuttagee Bridge, vote 1 Helen O’Neil.
