When I started this petition, I never imagined how many people would stand beside our family. What began as a fight for my daughter, Bee, has grown into a movement for autistic individuals everywhere.

Because of your support, Bee's Law is no longer just an idea. We are actively working with legislators, disability organizations, advocates, and experts to develop legislation that would require autism-informed training throughout the judicial system.

Over the past year, I have met with organizations and professionals across the country to discuss how misunderstandings surrounding autism can impact credibility, communication, accommodations, and access to justice.

Bee's Law is currently being prepared for introduction, and the support this petition has received has played a huge role in getting us to this point. I couldn't have done it without you. 

There is still a great deal of work ahead, but your signatures, shares, and stories continue to prove that this issue matters.
