Hello, We are just 20 days away from our special event to #ReimagineLondon as the world's first #NationalParkCity at Southbank Centre in central London. This is a unique opportunity to learn about this big idea for London, to learn from experts and to contribute to our proposal which will be published in the summer. Sponsored by the School of Geography, Queen Mary University of London, Thames Tideway Tunnel and Ordnance Survey, the event takes place across a number of spaces. The Purcell Room - Expert talks, panel discussions and political debate. We will be imagining the difference a National Park City could make, the work it should do and how we can work together to make it happen. Foyer Forum - Practical ideas, advice and debate with experts on a range of themes. Visit this stage for wildlife photography, to debate the green belt and more. Ideas Lab - Contribute to our Wall of Inspiration, a melting pot of ideas, practices, evidence and case studies that we can all be inspired by. Dig deeper in the Ideas Lab by exploring the problems, challenges and solutions a Greater London National Park could work on. Exhibition - Explore the wide range of organisations who will be exhibiting at the event. Charities and micro businesses can apply for a table for an affordable rate here. The River - Discover the Greater London National Park City by joining us for an adventure down the River Thames and back. Sponsored by Thames Tideway Tunnel this sunset cruise includes short talks and drinks. Tickets cost £39, but as a petition supporter you can book your place for just £5.
