This evening at 5 pm, the Beaufort County Council will once again deliberate the fate of historic St. Helena Island, SC which is the epicenter of Gullah/Geechee culture. We are calling on you to be there to stand up and speak out to tell the Beaufort County Council to DENY the rezoning request made in regard to Pine Island. Keep all parcels of land under the Cultural Protection Overlay District for historic St. Helena Island as they have been since 1999!
