Japanese NGOs have negotiated with the Ministry of Defense.
Requested the conservation of dugongs and corals.
However, the Ministry of Defense prioritizes the construction of new bases over environmental protection. It is clear that landfill works have a negative impact on the environment.
The Ministry of Defense does not acknowledge this obvious reality.
Let's expand this campaign to protect the Okinawa dugong.
