Ban foreign players/cricket presenter who are part of PSL from participating in IPL
The Issue
Dear Mr. Rathore & BCCI,
Recently, Pakistan backed terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad killed 44 CRPF jawans in a cowardly act of terrorism. Since independence Pakistan has meddled in India’s internal affairs & it is in permanent state of war with India through its non-state actors.
Entire nation is seething in anger over loss of our jawans in one of the most brutal attacks of last 30 years. India has given multiple chance to dialogues & cultural exchange but sadly every attempt has failed & Pakistan has either responded with war, plane hijack, parliament attack or terrorist attacks on civilians or army personnel. Considering public opinion BCCI has stopped playing with Pakistan in bilateral series but current situation demands more out of BCCI.
World knows that we are SUPERPOWER in world of cricket both, on the field & off the field. BCCI is one of the richest cricket board of world. It is time we use this power to bleed our adversary. Most of the international cricket team don’t visit Pakistan to play cricket, this embargo has already bleeded Pakistani board but by shifting home base to Dubai they have broken this embargo. With PSL, they are trying to bring back cricket to their country. Money generated through PSL helps crippling Pakistani economy which in turn helps JIHAD. Experts are of opinion that by hurting Pakistani economically, India can force Pakistan to stop Jihad.
BCCI can play very important role here. Every international player wants to play in richest cricket league of world. Every cricket presenter desire to be part of IPL. We can leverage this demand by asking foreign players/presenters to choose between IPL & PSL. Those individuals, who choose to be part of PSL should not be allowed to take part in IPL. If need be, give incentive to foreign players but stop them from taking part in PSL. Further those presenters who do commentary in PSL should not be allowed to be part of broadcasting in bilateral series.
It is time BCCI exerts its power to help country. By hurting Pakistan economic interests, we can ensure safety of our Jawans. Every war requires money, we will hurt their supplies & ultimately win the war with minimum bloodshed.
